Synopsis

WHAT LIES BETWEEN is a striking psychological thriller that explores the depths we go to in love and survival, and keeps you guessing until the very end.

A writer, Jim (Daniel Betty), rents a cottage on remote New Zealand farmland. As he explores the forest bordering the cottage, it soon becomes evident that he is not alone. When he encounters a stranger, Jess (Ruth Strong), she offers to help, but as her interest intensifies Jim begins to grow suspicious of her true intentions.

Haunted by his past, Jim rushes to understand events and finds time may be running out to put things right.
